One of the hardest things for me to do is to talk about myself in some abstract way. It cripples me during interviews, and it cripples me here. I scoured blogs & self-help sites to help write this, and I don’t think they did anything to alleviate the why I should talk about myself, just the how. It instead spirals me into a few favorite flavors of dread, where imposter syndrome & anxiety run like wild weasels in my brain. Darn brain weasels. This is me, though. And what you see in my blog is my interests are. Reading, talking about being queer, cooking, creating anything from 3D models to just stories to whole worlds, brain weasels be darned.
